What it is
The Open AT® cellular software suite enables you to develop, compile, test, debug, download and natively execute your applications written in standard ANSI C and/or Lua directly on Wavecom Wireless CPUs, eliminating the need for external processors and reducing the total cost of your final product.

What it is not
Open AT® is not a proprietary programming language. You develop your application using any combination of standard ANSI C, Lua and AT commands.

Open AT® does not force you to embed your application on the Wireless CPU®. All Wavecom hardware products can be used as traditional wireless modules or modems, controlled by AT commands. You can also use the Wireless CPU® as a shared processor. The lowest total system cost, however, is achieved by running the entire application on the Wireless CPU®.
